Engr.
Alex Ike is a Forthright man with personal integrity
and strength of character. He was born in 1958 at Onitsha Anambra State. Born to Honorable Chief
Akunne and Mrs. O.C.Sam Okeke,
Engr.
Okeke’s commitment to serving the people of
Nnewi Federal
Constituency
came about as a result of his initial training and
service as a Higher Elementary School Teacher. He realized the critical need to extend himself beyond the classroom for the benefit of his people. In 1979, he traveled to the United State of America to further his education. His intense and direct sense of purpose and discipline earned him a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Alabama A&M University. He then attended Howard, and Bowie State
Universities
(both in the USA) where he did his graduate studies in
Civil
Engineering and Management Information Systems respectively.
He has
come home to give back to the people of Nnewi all the knowledge and experience that he has acquired in the United State of America. He is committed to improving
the lives of the citizens and residents of the Nnewi Federal Constituency. He is the best choice and the best hope for the future and the overall development of the Nnewi Federal Constituency. He is ready to serve.
He has the experience and the
qualifications to serve.
He will work to make life in the Nnewi Federal Constituency
worthwhile. Engr. Okeke believes that we have been
to the edge of hardships and back and that this is the time for change.
Engr.
Okeke is a member of the American Society of Civil
Engineers, American Society of Highway Engineers,
and the National Council of Black Engineers and Scientists. He will use his connections to these Professional Organizations to bring full development to the Nnewi Federal Constituency.
This
is the time for an indigenous son who is very highly
committed and cares about Nnewi. This is the time.....
